About the project

The platform was designed with an emphasis on intuitive navigation, aesthetics referring to the prestige of the brand and reliability of operation, which allowed the client to effectively build a strong digital presence and reach a quality-conscious audience in France.

Design challenge

The French HoReCa sector is one of the most demanding industries in Europe — customers of luxury hotels and restaurants attach importance not only to the quality of the product, but also to the history that the brand tells.

Our challenge was to design from the ground up an e-commerce platform for a new premium umbrella brand, connecting two worlds: the HoReCa industry and individual customers.

The project required a minimalist, modern design and intuitive navigation that capture the character of the brand and support a smooth purchasing process.

Workshops

We started the creative process with a workshop with the client, which allowed us to define precisely the business objectives and the key needs of the users. Thanks to this, we were able to empathize with the specifics of the French premium market and collect requirements for responsiveness, ease of use and visual communication. The workshop also made it possible to set priorities and to clarify expectations regarding the final result.

Look & Feel

The visual design was based on aesthetics corresponding to the premium brand Lu Monde Du Parasol. We opted for elegance, minimalism and subdued, warm, albeit contrasting colors, which emphasize the character of the products. We have taken care of stylistic consistency and functionality through the use of strongly geometric, minimalist interface elements.

Design System

To zestaw zasad i elementów wizualnych, który gwarantuje spójność marki i ułatwia dalszy rozwój sklepu.

Dzięki niemu klient ma pewność, że nawet po zakończeniu współpracy strona może być łatwo rozwijana przez każdy zespół — z zachowaniem kolorystyki, typografii, proporcji i stylu marki.

Takie "DNA" marki pomaga utrzymać estetykę i użyteczność, a jednocześnie pozwala szybciej wdrażać zmiany, aktualizacje czy nowe funkcje — bez ryzyka utraty charakteru marki.

Projektując dla klienta, myśleliśmy nie tylko o premierze, ale o całym cyklu życia platformy — tak, by mogła rosnąć razem z marką poza naszą współpracą.

Rezultaty

W ciągu trzech miesięcy klient zyskał gotowy projekt sklepu online, który pozwala mu pewnie wejść na francuski rynek marek premium.

Stworzona platforma łączy elegancki wygląd z prostą obsługą — dzięki czemu marka może skutecznie docierać zarówno do wymagających klientów HoReCa, jak i indywidualnych odbiorców.

W Zimie wierzymy, że dobrze zaprojektowany e-commerce to nie tylko kanał sprzedaży, ale także przestrzeń budowania emocji, reputacji i długofalowej wartości marki.

$3 million in funding raised

The PoC project allowed our client to raise $3,000,000 in funding to build an MVP and further develop.

MVP has been launched in the Australian market

Thanks to the funding, an MVP was built, which was launched in the Australian market and is currently pivoting for a Product-Market Fit.

Award at the EXAW Experience Awards

Our project was awarded in the first UXoM competition in Poland — EXAW Experience Awards, winning the second prize.
